Three Players Got $1 Million Each On Day 2 SHRB

On the second day of event Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB), 13 players returned, the event was a $100,000 buy-in tournament and it was hosted in Las Vegas by Aria Poker.


This week, this was the fourth high roller event at Aria, following up the tournament of $10,000, $25,000 and $50,000. All of them were lead-ups to the buy-in Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB), which started on Sunday afternoon and will till June 1.

A total of 54 players participated in the event and generated $5,292,000 prize pool at Aria on Friday. A veer of German poker pros were at the event and a few of them made up to the final table as well. Finally, among them two players Steffen Sontheimer and Christian Christner agreed to a deal of three-handed with pro from America Ben Tollerene and that secured over $1 million to each.

After the start of the event, Daniel Negreanu, who has a short stacked was the first to move out of the final table as he shoved into Sontheimer’s and was unable to improve. The next who left the table was Adrian Mateos. Himself, into the David Peters’s pocket aces ran pocket fives and moved away with $264,600. The final table exists were called for SHRB of Weekend except the Mateos, Mateos was not selected to play in the event. He will have to see the event from the sidelines.

Meanwhile, Peters had a big lead and only six players were left, but lost a huge pot against Tollerene. To drag the pot, Tollerene called his full house and Peters shoved the river.

The overall ranking of day of SHRB was Erik Seidel finished in the sixth position, Christoph Vogelsang finished in fifth, and Peters in fourth. Then the deal negotiation was started by the remaining three players.
